Regional Managers Sought for Indiana and Michigan
If you live in Indiana or Michigan and desire to serve your fellow SDC
members and chapters as a Regional Manager, vacancies for those positions
currently exist. The Regional Manager position description is as follows:
The Regional Manager serves a two year term and is generally responsible
for the administration of the region, which can be a province, several
states or a portion of a state. This person is the central liaison and
contact reference for the region, maintains a current list of chapters
in the region and encourages the formation of new chapters. He or she
encourages chapters to hold regular meetings and publish a newsletter,
and he or she assists the zone coordinator in appointing committee members,
solving regional problems and other duties as directed. The Regional Manager
receives a current list of membership changes quarterly, to be shared
with chapter presidents and used as a management tool.
