son's ashes interred at Maple Hill: 'Dad will be happy here'

It was the smallest of ceremonies, with just the family Bible turned to
Psalms 116 and the deceased's two children and their spouses crowded in
the Erskine mausoleum.
Even though the ashes of Albert Russel "Randy" Erskine III's
and Susan Erskine Whitmore's father have been in a brass urn for 15 years,
the sadness of his death overwhelmed them all over again.
"It's like another funeral, but this is what Dad wanted, so we're
glad to finally be doing it," said Susan, looking around at the serene
setting of the mausoleum in Maple Hill Cemetery. (Story continues)
